Community Health to repay $1.01 billion term loans via new notes

Morgantown, W.Va., June 27 – Community Health Systems, Inc. said its wholly owned subsidiary, CHS/Community Health Systems, Inc., intends to repay $1,013,000,000 of term loans outstanding under its term G facility.
The company will use proceeds from an offering of senior secured notes due 2024 for the paydown, according to a press release.
Community Health is a Franklin, Tenn., hospital company.
