S&P revises Exelon view to positive

S&P said it revised its outlooks on Exelon Corp. and its subsidiaries Commonwealth Edison Co., PECO Energy Co., Exelon Generation Co. LLC, Pepco Holdings LLC, Potomac Electric Power Co., Atlantic City Electric Co., Delmarva Power & Light Co. and Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. to positive from stable and affirmed all of its ratings on the companies.

“The positive outlook reflects our expectation that Exelon will continue to gradually reduce its business risk while maintaining financial measures that are consistently in the higher half of the range for its financial risk profile category,” S&P said in a news release.

“Exelon's second-quarter results were in line with these expectations.”
