Comdisco to make $0.15 per right contingent rights payment on Sept. 17

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Aug. 27 - Comdisco Holding Co., Inc. will make a cash payment of $0.15 per right on its contingent distribution rights payable on Sept. 17 to contingent distribution rightsholders of record on Sept. 7, according to a company news release.

The company said it has 152.3 million contingent distribution rights outstanding.

This distribution relates to the Aug. 15 supplemental distribution of excess funds from the disputed claims reserve to general unsecured creditors.

Comdisco Inc.'s plan of reorganization entitles holders of Comdisco Holding's contingent distribution rights to share at increasing percentages in proceeds from Comdisco Holding's assets after the minimum percentage recovery threshold was met in May 2003.

Comdisco emerged from Chapter 11 on Aug. 12, 2002. Comdisco Holding is a Rosemont, Ill., company formed to sell the assets of its predecessor Comdisco, Inc. and distribute the proceeds.
