New York, July 10 - The City of Columbus, Ohio, sold $447,035,000 of series 2012 general obligation bonds, according to a pricing sheet.
The offering included $405,605,000 of series 2012A various purpose unlimited tax G.O. bonds and $41.43 million of series 2012B various purpose limited tax G.O. bonds.
The 2012A bonds are due 2014 to 2033 with 3% to 5% coupons. The 2012B bonds are due 2014 to 2028 with coupons from 3% to 5%.
The bonds (Aaa/AAA/AAA) were sold competitively. The issuer did not return calls for the winning bidder by press time Tuesday.
Proceeds will be used to finance transportation, refuse collection, parks and recreation and safety and health projects within the city.
