Columbia Short Term Municipal Bond Fund adds manager Anders Myhran

San Luis Obispo, Calif., April 16 – Columbia Funds Series Trust announced a portfolio management change to its Columbia Short Term Municipal Bond Fund, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Effective April 15, Anders Myhran is an associate portfolio manager of the fund, joining senior portfolio manager Catherine Stienstra.

The fund seeks current income exempt from federal income tax, consistent with minimal fluctuation of principal, by investing at least 80% of its net assets in securities that pay interest exempt from federal income tax, but not necessarily the federal alternative minimum tax.

Boston-based Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC is the investment manager.
