San Diego, Dec. 29 - Columbia Funds Series Trust I announced in 497 filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission that it has added Paul F. Fuchs as a co-portfolio manager to some of its funds.

Effective Jan. 1, Fuchs will assist existing portfolio manager Brian M. McGreevy in managing the Columbia Massachusetts Intermediate Municipal Bond Fund, the Columbia New York Intermediate Municipal Bond Fund, the Columbia California Intermediate Municipal Bond Fund, the Columbia Short Term Municipal Bond Fund and the Columbia Intermediate Municipal Bond Strategy Fund.

Fuchs began his investment career in 1994 and worked as an investment professional from 1999 to 2010 for Columbia Management Group. In May 2010, he joined Boston-based Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC, the funds' investment adviser, when it acquired the long-term asset management business of Columbia Management.
