Colossus Minerals cancels special noteholders, shareholders meetings

Pittsburgh, Jan. 6 - Colossus Minerals Inc. said the Jan. 10 special meeting of the holders of its outstanding gold-linked notes has been canceled.
In addition, Colossus said the Jan. 20 special shareholders' meeting was also canceled, according to a news release.
As previously reported, the company did not expect to make a Dec. 31 interest payment on the notes.
Based in Toronto, Colossus is a gold and platinum exploration and development company.
