New Issue: Regional Transportation District, Colo., sells $224.05 million COPs

New York, May 7 - The Regional Transportation District of Colorado sold $224,045,000 of series 2013A certificates of participation, according to a pricing sheet.
The certificates (Aa3/A-/A+) were sold through senior managers RBC Capital Markets LLC and Stifel, Nicolaus & Co. LLC.
The COPs are due 2014 to 2027 with 2% to 5% coupons.
Proceeds will be used to replace buses and other transit equipment and to refund the district's series 2005A COPs, which were initially issued to acquire light rail vehicles.
