Moody's changes Colombia view to stable

Moody's Investors Service said it changed the outlook to stable form negative and affirmed the government of Colombia's long-term local- and foreign-currency issuer and senior unsecured debt ratings at Baa2

“The stable outlook reflects Moody's expectation that the fiscal measures approved by the government and the post-pandemic economic recovery will support debt stabilization. The stable outlook also assumes that the next administration will maintain prudent macroeconomic policies, including implementation of the fiscal consolidation program outlined by the reform, in a way that effectively leads to the stabilization of credit metrics and likely reduces fiscal and external imbalances,” the agency said in a press release.
