S&P rates Coke notes A+

S&P said it assigned an A+ rating to the Coca-Cola Co.’s planned dollar-denominated senior unsecured notes due 2028, 2031 and 2051 with final amounts to be determined. The notes will be issued by the group's parent company and rank equally with its senior unsecured debt. Coke is also selling euro-denominated notes.

The company expects to use the proceeds, together with cash on hand, to purchase the dollar-denominated notes tendered pursuant to the recently announced tenders.

All of S&P’s ratings for Coke are unchanged and the outlook remains negative, the agency said.
