S&P affirms Clorox

S&P said it affirmed its A- issuer credit and long-term debt ratings and its A-2 short-term issuer credit and commercial paper rating on Clorox Co.

The outlook is stable.

“The affirmation reflects Clorox's stable profitability despite some near-term gross margin pressure, strong cash flow generation, solid credit-protection measures supported by a prudent financial policy, continued strong market share within midsize categories, diversified portfolio of leading consumer brands, and participation in an intensely competitive industry,” S&P said in a news release.
