By Devika Patel

Knoxville, Tenn., May 7 – Clorox Co. will sell senior notes, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes have a make-whole call and are then redeemable at par.

The bookrunners are Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and RBC Capital Markets Corp.

Proceeds will be used to refinance all or a portion of the company’s outstanding commercial paper used in connection with the acquisition of Nutranext.

The manufacturer and marketer of consumer and professional products is based in Oakland, Calif.
