By Devika Patel

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 26 – Clorox Co. is selling dollar-denominated fixed-rate senior notes, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes have a make-whole call and then are callable at par.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, MUFG and Wells Fargo Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to repay at maturity all or some of the company’s $400 million 5.95% senior notes due October 2017 and for general corporate purposes.

The manufacturer and marketer of consumer and professional products is based in Oakland, Calif.
