Clifton Higher Ed, Texas, prepares $111.24 million of education bonds

New York, July 22 – The Clifton Higher Education Finance Corp. of Texas is set to price $111,235,000 of series 2015 education revenue bonds for the International Leadership of Texas, according to a preliminary official statement.

The offering includes $105.87 million of series 2015A bonds and $5,365,000 of series 2015B taxable bonds.

The maturities have not been set for the 2015A bonds. The 2015B bonds are due 2016 to 2019.

The bonds will be sold through sole underwriter BB&T Capital Markets.

Proceeds will be used to finance the construction, equipment, acquisition, installation and improvement of classrooms and educational facilities and for open-enrollment charter schools in Arlington, Garland and Fort Worth.
