South Africa's African Bank plans roadshow for dollar notes

Atlanta, Jan. 30 - South Africa's African Bank Ltd. will set out on Feb. 3 for a roadshow to market an offering of dollar-denominated notes, a market source said.

Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Rand Merchant Bank and Standard Chartered Bank are arranging the marketing trip for the Regulation S-only deal.

The roadshow will begin in the United Arab Emirates and then travel to Frankfurt, Geneva, Zurich, Hong Kong, London and Singapore before concluding on Feb. 6.

African Bank is based in Johannesburg.
