New Issue: African Aura sells £11.31 million of stock through private placement

Knoxville, Tenn., April 21 - African Aura Mining Inc. said it raised £11.31 million in a private placement of shares.

The company sold 17,398,770 common shares at 65p each.

Proceeds will be used for a bankable feasibility study on the New Liberty gold deposit, to deliver a maiden resource statement for the Nkout iron ore project, to deliver a NI 43-101 resource statement for the Weaju deposit and for working capital.

The iron ore and gold explorer is based in Vancouver, B.C.
