Afren to repay credit facility with proceeds from senior notes sale

Kansas City, Kan., Feb. 21 - Afren plc will use the proceeds from its offering of senior secured notes to repay and cancel its BNPP/VTB corporate credit facility, according to an announcement filed with the London Stock Exchange.

Proceeds will also be used for general corporate purposes.

Afren is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company based in London.
