S&P rates Clark County School, Nev., bonds underlying AA

Standard & Poor's said it assigned its AA rating to Clark County School District, Nev.'s $675 million of series 2008A general obligation bonds.

The bonds will mature on June 15, 2028, the agency said.

The outlook is stable.

At the same time, S&P said it affirmed its AA rating and underlying rating on the district's existing debt, which totaled $5.2 billion as of May.
