Clark County, Nev., to sell $173.91 million G.O. bonds Tuesday

New York, Nov. 15 - Clark County of Nevada plans to sell $173.905 million of series 2010 Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority transportation general obligation bonds on Tuesday, according to a preliminary official statement.

The offering includes $156.97 million of series 2010C Build America Bonds and $16.935 million of series 2010D tax-exempt bonds.

The bonds (Aa1/AA+/) will be sold on a competitive basis with Hobbs, Ong & Associates Inc. and Public Financial Management Inc. as the financial advisers.

The 2010C bonds are due 2015 to 2038. The 2010D bonds are due 2011 to 2014.

Proceeds will be used to finance transportation projects within the county.
