S&P rates Las Vegas McCarran, Nev., airport notes SP-1+

Standard & Poor's said it assigned its SP-1+ short-term rating to Clark County, Nev.'s $400 million junior subordinate-lien revenue notes, series 2008F, issued on behalf of Las Vegas McCarran International Airport.

S&P also said it affirmed the underlying rating on the Clark County Department of Aviation's outstanding $282 million senior-lien debt at AA-, $1.32 billion subordinate-lien debt at A+, $706 million of passenger facility charge revenue debt at A+ and $101 million jet aviation fuel tax bonds at A.

The outlook is stable.
