Moody's gives P-1 to Clark County, Nev., bonds

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a P-1 rating to Clark County, Nev.'s $200 million of general obligation (limited-tax) bank bond bank commercial paper notes (additionally secured by pledged revenues), series 2008A and series 2008B.

The rating is based partly on a letter of credit from Bank of America, NA, which is rated Aaa/P-1 with stable outlook.
