New Issue: Citigroup prices $2.5 billion 6 7/8% 30-year notes at Treasuries plus 230 bps

Omaha, Feb. 27 - Citigroup Inc. priced $2.5 billion 6 7/8% 30-year notes Wednesday to yield Treasuries plus 230 basis points, an informed source said.

The notes priced in line with talk that was in the area of 230 bps more than Treasuries.

The notes (Aa3/AA-/AA) priced at 99.332 to yield 6.929%.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. was the bookrunner.

The bank is based in New York City.
