CIT names Koslo managing director and group head of capital markets

New York, Feb. 5 - CIT Group Inc. has appointed William J. Koslo, Jr. as managing director and group head of CIT Capital Markets, according to a news release.

Koslo will be responsible for driving CIT's global capital markets activities, including deal structuring and delivering a best-in-class distribution platform.

Koslo joined CIT in 2005 as a managing director for CIT Capital Markets.

"Bill's extensive experience in syndication and leveraged finance along with his deep industry knowledge will serve CIT and our clients well as we further enhance our competitive position as a premier provider of middle market financing," said Walter J. Owens, president of Corporate Finance at CIT, in the release.

CIT Group is a New York-based financial services company.
