Moody's: CIMB view to positive

Moody's Investors Service said it revised the outlook to positive from stable on CIMB Investment Bank Bhd's local-currency and foreign-currency long-term and short-term issuer ratings of Baa1/prime-2.

The change in outlook reflects the improving capability of its sister company, CIMB Bank Bhd, to provide it with support if needed, Moody's said.

CIMB Investment's ratings incorporate high support from the holding company, the agency said.
