New Issue: HSBC prices $800,000 one-year AMPS with no cap tied to Chinese renminbi

Chicago, Feb. 12 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $800,000 of 0% Accelerated Market Participation Securities due Feb. 13, 2014 linked to the deliverable Chinese renminbi relative to the dollar, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 4 times any gain in the currency.

Investors will be exposed to any losses.
