China’s Xiamen Airlines approved to issue RMB 5 billion of bonds

New York, May 8 – Xiamen Airlines Co. Ltd. has been approved to issue up to RMB 5 billion of corporate bonds, according to a 6-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The authorization came from the China Securities Regulatory Commission.

Xiamen Airlines will be able to sell the bonds publicly to qualified investors.

The first tranche must be completed within 12 months and all tranches within 24 months.

Xiamen Airlines is a holding subsidiary of China Southern Airlines Co. Ltd., an airline based in Guangzhou, China.
