Moody's confirms Aetna at Baa1

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed Aetna Inc.'s Baa1 senior debt rating and the A1 insurance financial strength rating of its operating subsidiary, Aetna Life Insurance Co., following the release of 2011 fourth quarter earnings and 2012 guidance.

The outlook remains stable.
