S&P turns Aetna view to positive

S&P said it changed the outlooks for Aetna Inc. and Aetna Health Holdings LLC to positive from stable and affirmed their BBB issuer ratings. The agency also affirmed the issuer ratings of Aetna’s insurance subsidiaries.

“The outlook revision on Aetna is driven by the corresponding outlook revision on its parent CVS Health. Our ratings on Aetna's insurance subsidiaries are two notches above our ratings on CVS Health because we view the entities as somewhat insulated, from a credit risk perspective,” S&P said in a press release.
