Westinghouse Electric amends September net loss figure to $1 million

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Nov. 15 – Westinghouse Electric Co., LLC amended the net loss it reported for September, according to an amended monthly operating report filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Specifically, the company is now reporting that the net loss for the month was $1 million, not the $43 million listed in its original operating report earlier this month.

The previously posted income from operations, revenue total and cash and cash equivalents amount for September were unchanged in the amended report.

Westinghouse, a Cranberry Township, Pa.-based nuclear products and services company and a subsidiary of Toshiba, filed bankruptcy on March 29, 2017. The Chapter 11 case number is 17-10751.
