Wabtec amends credit agreement to allow for upcoming notes issue

Madison, Wis., Aug. 5 - Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corp. (Wabtec) entered into a second amendment to its refinancing credit agreement dated Nov. 7, 2011 with PNC Bank, NA as administrative agent to modify some definitions, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The changes, completed on Aug. 2, relate to a proposed issuance of senior unsecured notes.

Specifically, the credit agreement was amended to permit notes, including new notes, totaling up to $350 million and unsecured debt totaling up to $150 million.

Wabtec is a Wilmerding, Pa.-based maker of railroad equipment.
