S&P: Vinci unaffected

Standard & Poor's said that its ratings and outlook on Vinci SA (BBB+/stable/A-2) remain unchanged following the replacement of the group's chairman, as the new incumbent and the CEO are likely to maintain the group's current strategy.

The agency added that Vinci is expected to continue to be concession-oriented, with strong market positions in its four business segments: concessions, construction, roads and energy.

The focus of external growth is predominantly Europe-based, with a cautious approach to group expansion in the U.S. Corporate governance will likely improve, notably through the better use of directors committees and the incorporation of new board members, S&P said.
