Moody's rates University of Pa. Health bonds Aaa/VMIG1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned ratings of Aaa/VMIG1 to the Pennsylvania Higher Educational Authority's $105.805 million of University of Pennsylvania Health System variable-rate revenue bonds, series 2008A.

The rating is based on a letter of credit from Bank of America, NA, which is rated Aaa/P-1. The health system is rated Aa3 with stable outlook.

Sale of the bonds was expected on April 29.
