Boyd Gaming calls 8¾% notes due 2012

New York, March 16 - Boyd Gaming Corp. announced the redemption of its 8¾% senior subordinated notes due 2012.

The Las Vegas-based gaming company will pay a redemption price of $1,043.75 per $1,000 principal amount of notes, plus accrued interest to the April 16 redemption date.

Boyd added that holders of record on April 1 will receive the interest payment due on April 15.

The company said that it will fund the redemption using borrowings under its credit facility.

Wells Fargo Bank NA is the payment agent.
