Senvion gets consents to amend 3 7/8% senior secured notes

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 31 – Senvion Holding GmbH received consents from holders of at least a majority of its €400 million 3 7/8% senior secured notes due 2022 (ISINs: XS1608040090, XS1608044753) to amend the notes, according to an announcement.

The issuer sought to, among other things, require the instruction from holders of notes of at least a majority of the then outstanding notes to accelerate the notes.

Subsequent to receiving consents, the acquisition of the European Service assets and IP from Senvion by Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was completed, the issuer said.

Hamburg, Germany-based Senvion manufactures wind turbines.
