Barclays plans two-year buffered digital notes linked to S&P 500

Chicago, Jan. 8 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered digital notes due Jan. 31, 2020 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index finishes at or above its 90% threshold, the payout at maturity will be par plus the digital return of 8.5% to 9.5%.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 10%.
Barclays is the agent.
The notes will price on Jan. 26 and settle on Jan. 31.
The Cusip number is 06744CR45.
