New Issue: RBC prices $561,000 of six-year barrier booster notes linked to S&P 500

Chicago, Aug. 1 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $561,000 of 0% barrier booster notes due July 31, 2023 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index gains by more than 40.1%, the payout at maturity will be par plus the index return.

If the index gains by up to 40.1%, the payout will be par plus 40.1%.

If the index finishes flat or falls by up to 25%, the payout will be par.

Otherwise, investors will be exposed to any losses.

RBC Capital Markets LLC is the underwriter.
