New Issue: Citigroup sells $166,000 buffer autocallable securities on S&P

Columbus, Ohio, Sept. 17 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $166,000 of 0% buffer autocallable securities due Sept. 15, 2022 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

The notes will be called at par plus a 6.5% premium if the index closes at or above its initial level on Sept. 15, 2021.

If the notes are not called and the index has not declined, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.25 times the index return. If the index falls by up to 10%, the payout will be par. Otherwise, investors will be exposed to any losses of the index beyond 10%.
