Fitch affirms Senkadagala

Fitch Ratings Lanka said it affirmed Senkadagala Finance Co. plc's national long-term rating at BBB+(lka) with a stable outlook and its senior redeemable debentures at BBB+(lka).

The agency said the ratings reflect Senkadagala's healthy asset quality, improved credit control systems and long operating history of over 40 years.

The ratings are, however, constrained by the company's greater reliance on borrowings compared to peers and limited access to equity capital, Fitch added.
