Scooter Store posts negative $4.23 million adjusted EBITDA in August

Wilmington, Del., Sept. 20 - Scooter Store Holdings, Inc. posted negative adjusted EBITDA of $4.23 million on net sales of $1.88 million in August, according to the company's monthly operating report filed Sept. 20 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Those figures compare to a negative adjusted EBITDA of $1.82 million for July on net sales of $1.61 million.

The operating loss for August was $3.92 million, improving from an operating loss of $4.44 million in July.

The August net loss was $5.38 million, compared to $3.14 million for July.

The company also reported cash and cash equivalents of $3.48 million as of Aug. 31, up from $2.87 million at the end of July.

Scooter Store, a New Braunfels, Texas-based provider of power mobility products, filed for bankruptcy on April 15. Its Chapter 11 case number is 13-10904.
