New Issue: RBC prices $207,000 of leveraged buffered notes linked to MSCI EM fund

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 26 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $207,000 of 0% leveraged buffered notes due April 27, 2018 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.6 times any fund gain, up to maximum settlement amount of $1,384 per $1,000 of notes.

Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 15% and will lose 1.1765% for every 1% decline beyond 15%.
