Radnor hearing on appointment of Chapter 11 examiner continued to Nov. 21

By Jennifer Lanning Drey

Portland, Ore., Oct. 20 - The hearing on the request by Radnor Holdings Corp.'s U.S. Trustee for appointment of a Chapter 11 examiner was continued to Nov. 21, according to a Friday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

As previously reported, U.S. Trustee Kelly Beaudin Stapleton requested the appointment of an examiner in connection with the replacement of the company's chief financial officer and concerns over accuracy of public documents.

Radnor, a Radnor, Pa.-based foam cup, container and expandable polystyrene bead manufacturer, filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 21. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-10894.
