S&P lifts Port Neches-Groves I.S.D., Texas, to A+

Standard & Poor's said it raised its issued credit rating to A+ from A on Port Neches-Groves Independent School District, Texas' $60 million of general obligation bonds.

In addition, S&P said it assigned an AAA program rating and the A+ issuer credit rating on the district's series 2008 unlimited-tax G.O. school building bonds.

S&P also affirmed the AAA program rating on the district's outstanding parity G.O. debt.

The outlook is stable.
