Phoenix Technologies investor Ramius buys more shares for 14.2% stake

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 1 - A group of shareholders led by Ramius Value and Opportunity Master Fund Ltd. bought 148,105 shares of Phoenix Technologies Ltd. between Nov. 12 and Nov. 30.

The shares were priced from $2.62 to $2.80 each, according to a schedule 13D/A filed on Tuesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Between Nov. 6 and Nov. 11, Ramius bought 258,023 shares for a 13.8% stake, a prior SEC filing said.

Ramius beneficially owns 4,989,906, or 14.2%, of the Milpitas, Calif., computer software company's shares.
