University of the Sciences, Pa., to offer $62.4 million revenue bonds April 15

By Sheri Kasprzak

New York, March 24 - The University of the Sciences in Philadelphia plans to price $62.4 million in series 2008 revenue bonds on April 15, a university spokesperson confirmed Monday.

The bonds (A3) will be sold through the Pennsylvania Higher Educational Facilities Authority.

The bonds will be sold on a negotiated basis through lead manager UBS Securities.

Proceeds from the sale will refund the university's series 2005B and series 2006 bonds, which are auction-rate securities.
