Motorola Solutions plans to price senior notes due 2030

Los Angeles, Aug. 10 – Motorola Solutions, Inc. plans to price senior notes due 2030, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, BofA Securities, Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are the underwriters.

Motorola plans to use proceeds to redeem its 3.75% senior notes due 2022, to fund a tender offer for four series of notes for an aggregate purchase price of up to $215 million, to pay fees related to the tender offer and for general corporate purposes.

The tender offer is for the company’s 7.5% debentures due 2025, 6.5% debentures due 2025, 3.5% senior notes due 2023 and 4% senior notes due 2024.

The communications equipment company is based in Chicago.
