Lexington, Ky., Aug. 19 – Metropolitan Life Global Funding I sold $1.25 billion of notes in two tranches (Aa3/AA-) on Thursday, according to a market source.
The $750 million 4.05% three-year notes priced with a spread of 83 basis points over Treasuries.
The $500 million 4.3% seven-year notes priced with a spread of 135 bps over Treasuries.
The issuer is a financing arm of New York City-based insurance and employee benefits company MetLife Inc.
