LDK Solar hires financial adviser for advice on offshore debt strategy

Pittsburgh, Sept. 13 - LDK Solar Co., Ltd. hired Jefferies LLC as its financial adviser for strategic advice in connection with the company's offshore debt obligations, according to a news release.

The company said the offshore debt obligations include its dollar-settled 10% senior notes due 2014.

LDK Solar is a manufacturer of photovoltaic products based in Xinyu City, China.
