Lazard Group files shelf registration for exchangeable securities

Madison, Wis., May 26 - Lazard Group LLC filed a shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday.

The registration covers debt securities that may be exchangeable for class A common stock.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes and repayment of debt.

Lazard is a New York-based financial advisory and asset management firm.
