Jenoptik starts roadshow Monday in London for €150 million seven-year notes

By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, Oct. 24 - Jenoptik AG will start the roadshow Monday in London for a €150 million offering of notes due 2010 (Ba3/BB-/BB), according to an informed source.

The deal is expected to price during the week of Nov. 3.

Goldman Sachs and HVB are underwriters of the Rule 144A/Regulation S deal.

The seven-year notes will be non-callable for four years.

Jenoptik will use proceeds to strengthen the company's capital base, reduce short-term debt and finance growth.

The prospective issuer is a Jena, Germany technology company.
