Moody's gives JBS notes Ba1

Moody's Investors Service said it gave a Ba1 rating to the planned $500 million, with flexibility to increase the amount subject to market conditions, of 11-year senior unsecured sustainability-linked notes due 2032 to be issued by JBS Finance Luxembourg Sarl. The notes will be guaranteed by JBS SA.

The coupon will be linked to the performance of established sustainability performance targets set under JBS' sustainability framework, more specifically, greenhouse gas emissions targets.

JBS will use the proceeds for liability management and other general corporate purposes, and will not affect leverage, the agency said.

The outlook is stable.
